I'm 19.
And I am currently serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Independence Missouri for 18 months starting in June of 2015.
Turns out, you probably could have found out all of that from the blog title, sooo here's a little bit more about me:
I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. #sincity
For the past year, I have been attending school at BYU in Provo, Utah. It is home for me now. I love everything about "Happy Valley".
I plan on majoring in Advertising when I return from my mission.
I love making videos and taking pictures. I always have a camera with me. It's how I document my life. People get sick of me filming them but I can't help it, it's a natural habitat (if you don't get the reference, do yourself a favor and watch the Kid History Christmas Episode on Youtube... and then watch it again for me because I won't be able to watch it for.. a while ha).
My family is wayy confusing (if you know, then you know ha) but I have five sisters. They are all amazing and inspire me to be better every single day. They also happen to be my best friends. I got lucky on that one.
Traveling is one my favorite things to do. The past three years, I have saved up to go on humanitarian trips with a church group and those... were easily some of the highlights of my life. I learned so much from the people in these countries and it was one of the many reasons why I wanted to go on a mission.
My family is so so sooo important to me and I know I am the worst (x 1 million) at telling/showing them how much I love and care about them so here's a little public shout out to them. You guys rock. and I miss you guys.
oh and Disneyland is our happy place. and it should be everyone's happy place.
Last but absolutely not least, I believe and am a follower of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon. The truth of the restored gospel has brought me an unbelievable amount of happiness. Long-term and eternal happiness. I am so grateful for it. My hope and wish is that everyone can experience this happiness. Heavenly Father loves everyone and I cannot wait to share this gospel and these truths with the people in Missouri and with my friends and family back home.
I'll be posting (or my family will I guess ha) my weekly updates on here for whoever wants to follow along the best 18 months of my life.
